For Lamyae Charifi, Casablanca began with the flavours of her homeland and a small stall at the local farmers’ market. Her Moroccan pastries and savoury treats soon found a place in the hearts of people in St. John’s.

That little beginning grew into Casablanca Bakery & Catering at 85 Bond Street. Here, Moroccan baking traditions meet the local flavours of Newfoundland.

The idea is still simple: good food, made with care, and a warm welcome for everyone who walks through the door.
